Some people believe that only red wines need to be allowed to breathe before being served. Other people are of the opinion that all wines benefit from having the chance to be exposed to the air before drinking. The easiest method of achieving this has always been to uncork the bottle and leave it in a suitable environment for at least fifteen minutes; preferably longer.
