The courts ordered that all copies of the 1922 movie Nosferatu must be destroyed, but that was a long time ago and the movie managed to survive. Why did they make such a ruling? Because of copyright infringement. The movie was based on Dracula and the director did not have permission to make it, so he made some changes.
